Rachel (LEAD) Age 16-20
Rachel is your average insecure teen—desperate to fix her skin, lose a few pounds, and control the frizz. But in this twisted coming-of-age tale, she’s forced to battle the cruelest voice of all: her own inner critic. We’re looking for a bold, expressive actor with strong emotional range and a willingness to throw themselves into a demanding and transformative role. Rachel journeys from shy and self-conscious to fierce and fearless, and the performance should reflect that evolution with honesty, humour, and physicality. Requirements: Some screen acting experience preferred Strong comedic timing is essential Movement/dance/physical theatre experience is a plus (not required, but confidence with choreographed movement is important) Must be comfortable working in a stylised, surreal, and sometimes heightened performance style This is a multi-layered, character-led role in a film with real festival potential.
