Well I'll have part two of the Nullarbor trip kicking off on my stories soon, but in the meantime - some images from Steep Point. 🚙

It doesn't get as much talk as places like Cape York, but this area certainly felt a long way from civilisation!

On one particular day of exploring, we only saw one other 4WD out on the tracks.

Starting 8 hours north of Perth (already considered the most isolated city in the world), you head west from the Overlander Roadhouse before turning onto the Useless Loop Road 40km later.

From here, you’ve still got hours of remote dirt-road driving ahead with a mix of gravel, sand and corrugations that only get worse the closer you get.

The reward? Reaching Australia’s westernmost point. 🙌

It was a lot to ask of a car that had probably never tackled a track like this before - and hadn’t moved for 4 months beforehand.

I'm headed back to pick up my new (to me) car!

This trip I'm aiming to head to Steep Point, the westernmost part of the Australian mainland before taking the scenic route home.

Am I crazy taking a car I've only driven 800km so far? Maybe, but it wouldn't be an adventure otherwise. 😆

Snippets of New South Wales from our Snowy mountains trip last year. 🚙

This trip was over 7,750km (the first big trip towing a camper) and there was plenty of preparation behind the scenes before hitting the road.

Land Rover jokes aside, Penrite Oil has been a big part of keeping me moving, and I'm thrilled to be an ambassador for 2026 again. 🔧

Next up, I'm bringing 110 home from Western Australia and the parts orders have well and truly started. 😅

Every girl needs something reliable. 😜 Well, the Series III has been good to me.

A bit over a year since I got it registered again (with a freshly rebuilt motor and plenty of driveline/interior/other work).

I've taken it on some 200km+ day trips and plenty of town trips - I keep joking that it will survive an apocalypse as long as it gets oil and diesel.

So far, so good.

Throwback to the Bridle Track in New South Wales (not one I'd suggest if you're scared of sheer drop offs).

This area is full of camping spots, swimming holes and gold mining era relics. ⛏️🏕️
