"I'm sad to announce that I will be withdrawing my plans to attend Anime NYC this weekend.

There's been an unexpected family tragedy, and I need to prioritize supporting my loved ones during such a difficult time. I immediately knew my decision on this matter, but it was still tough to make, because I really cherish meeting fans of DDLC and my other work. I'm sorry it couldn't work out this time.

I hope to see you at future cons, maybe Anime NYC 2025!"
