Association of Afghan Healthcare Professionals-UK has organised a charity event which is taking place on Saturday 5th July 2025, dedicated to supporting children in Afghanistan living with thalassaemia.
Thalassaemia is a genetic blood disorder that reduces the body’s ability to produce hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. For children with severe thalassaemia, regular blood transfusions are essential for survival.
Sadly, many in Afghanistan do not have access to the care they urgently need.
Join them for an evening of hope and impact, where we’ll share how AAHP-UK is building a vital lifeline for these children by improving access to lifesaving treatment.
The event will include:
• Inspiring talks
• Engaging panel discussions
• A vibrant cultural showcase
🗓 Date: Saturday, 5th July
🕔 Time: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
📍 Venue: Royal Bakhtar Banquet Hall, 368 Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2DE
