Huge Canadian flag on , maybe for FIFA??

Is this the best $8 you can spend in Vancouver this summer? ☀️💸

Welcome to Episode 1 of my brand new series where I hunt down the absolute best things to do in the city for under $10. Living in Vancouver is expensive, but experiencing the best parts of it shouldn't have to be.

📍Second Beach Pool, Stanley Park, Vancouver

For just $8.33, you get access to this massive 80-meter heated outdoor pool right on the edge of the ocean. It has a 50-meter lap section, and when you are done, you can grab tacos or ramen from the kiosks right on the beach 🌮🍜

💡 Local Tip: They encourage booking your timeslot online to guarantee a spot, but if it’s a quiet day, you can just drop in right at the gate like I did! Just make sure to use the washrooms before you enter, as there is no re-entry.

Are you team soccer or team fútbol? Let’s settle this in the comments ⚽🇨🇦🇲🇽

Vancouver is officially hosting 7 matches for the 2026 World Cup!

As someone who gets to watch both my home country of Mexico and my current home of Canada co-host this massive tournament, I am completely torn on who to root for.

Mexico has a history of host-country magic, the last two times they hosted, they reached the Quarter-finals! Meanwhile, Canada is sweating right now because news just broke that Bayern Munich might block Alphonso Davies from playing if he isn't 100% cleared by their doctors.

Regardless of who plays, if you are going downtown for the games, do not drive 🛑🚗

Traffic will be a nightmare, and the city just announced a ton of strict new rules:

❌ You cannot walk to the stadium from the Stadium-Chinatown SkyTrain station
❌ Metal water bottles (like Yetis and Stanley cups) are completely banned
❌ Every single venue is 100% cashless

You need a game plan. So, I made one for you! 🗺️

My entire goal is to help you thrive in Canada without draining your bank account. So, I put together a complete Local's Guide to The World Cup.

It includes the secret spectator walking routes, transit hacks, the Fan Festival shuttle details, and the best affordable food spots near the stadiums so you don't overpay.

I’ll instantly DM you the direct link to the guide so you are fully prepared.

This is the hike you need to do this weekend 🥾🏔️

With the World Cup bringing thousands of visitors to the city next month, I am breaking down the absolute best trails that are less than a 1-hour drive from downtown Vancouver.

Welcome to Part 1: Tunnel Bluffs.

This is a 4-hour, intermediate round trip. The first 2km will make your legs burn, but you are rewarded with a beautifully shaded, flat canopy for the rest of the hike, complete with wooden bridges and streams.

The view of the Howe Sound at the top is completely unmatched.

⚠️ Local Tip: Get there by 7:30 AM or you will not find parking. Also, let’s keep BC beautiful, pack out your trash and leave no trace!

Want to skip the wait for the rest of the series? Drop the word HIKE below! 👇

I will instantly DM you my complete Top 5 Vancouver Hikes Cheat Sheet, including the exact coordinates for that secret overflow parking lot for this trail so you don’t get stuck.

I got incredibly lucky. But it turns out, I was doing it the hard way 🤫🐋

After that video from English Bay blew up, someone in a local Facebook group put me onto the ultimate summer cheat code: the new Whale Locator app.

Booking a professional boat tour in BC is amazing, but it can be really expensive.

If you want to experience the magic of the West Coast on a budget this summer, this app gives you a live map of the Salish Sea and sends you real-time push notifications the second a whale is spotted near your location.

You literally just walk down to the water when your phone buzzes📱🌊

The best part? Encouraging land-based whale watching is a massive win for conservation. It builds local awareness while keeping boat traffic down, giving these beautiful animals the quiet space they need to thrive.

Want the insider secret? Drop the word WHALE below! 👇

I’ll instantly DM you the direct download link, my honest review, and a curated list of the absolute best shoreline spots in Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island to watch them from.

✈️ Share this with the friend you are taking to the beach this weekend so they can download it too!

If you are staring at IRCC portals right now terrified of making a mistake, listen to this 🛑

Navigating Canadian immigration by yourself is incredibly stressful. You don’t just need someone to fill out forms; you need a custom Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C.

That is exactly why I bring experts like April onto the platform.

She builds a bulletproof strategy based on your exact experience, hands you a written breakdown of your options, and the best part? If you move forward with an application within 30 days, she credits the consultation fee right back to you.

Stop leaving your future up to chance. Drop the word PLAN in the comments, and I will instantly DM you the direct link to book a discovery call with April’s team! 👇

Sometimes you are just taking a normal walk along the seawall, and the city reminds you exactly why you moved here 🌊✨

Spotted this incredible whale cruising right past English Bay yesterday. You don’t always need to book an expensive boat tour to experience the magic of the West Coast, sometimes you just need perfect timing and a walk by the water.

This right here is the ultimate Vancouver privilege 🇨🇦

And if you want more tips on how to experience the best of this city without going broke, follow me for more.
