Meet Eevee.

She came to us in a season of loss. We had a gutter cat that started hanging around & we found out she was pregnant. So we fed her and decided we were going to be there when she had the babies.

Eventually she did, in a neighbors attic, and when I went to get the kittens, Meg (the mama) would only come to me.

We got her out of the attic, into our laundry room and she stayed there for the next 8 weeks. During that time we lost our family dog of 15yrs and her kittens filled a place in our hearts we needed so badly to be filled, but didn’t realize.

Believe it or not, she was the runt. She was always so much smaller than the others and we always worried she wouldn’t make it… until she did. Now. She’s our biggest cat and we tease she looks like a seal 😂♥️

God works in amazing ways and knows what we need even before we realize it. She’s our miracle baby & has helped us love and laugh again with our furbabies. She helped us move on from the loss.

We got her Mama fixed, rehomed her with a friend (from Arkansas to New York!), we kept 2 of her kittens and rehomed the other to a boy in our neighborhood. His mom and dad gave the kitten to him as a birthday present.

God is so good and I’ve learned to look for Him in the most unlikely places. ♥️

Started today off playing at the park with the babies!
HIGHLY recommend a job where you can do weekday morning playdates anytime you want. It’s good for the soul 🥰

I’ve been working on some things behind the scenes lately, so most days I’m in my jammies, headphones on, cuddled in my favorite blanket, fueling with coffee, learning, and soaking everything up!

I love simplicity. A good challenge. Contributing.
Most of all being in a position to help & encourage someone.

Every day I’ve been waking up & going to sleep excited at what I see God unfolding in this season and I can hardly wait to share it with you!

Why 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆?
I used to wonder why they called it this too if it was the day Jesus was killed…..

He gave His life in place of ours.

He was falsely accused & rejected & beaten by those He came to save, yet He 𝘚𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 selflessly gave His life.

….. Friday was dark, but Sunday was coming…..

He built a bridge with His sacrifice, between imperfect Man (you & me) ➡️ TO a perfect God.

Now, when We accept this truth that He is who He said He is, we are made perfect in God’s eyes, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 receive His spirit. This does not make us gods. It makes us children, heirs to the throne.

This acceptance also gives you a Comforter while you are walking this imperfect earth & an assurance that you will be with Him in Paradise, Heaven, when your days are over.

We all come to the end, that’s just a part of being a human. Those that love Christ & believe in His Name, WILL BE SAVED.

There are no perfect Christians or perfect Humans and you do not have to have it all together to approach His throne & ask for what He freely gives as a GIFT to you.

You are uniquely different from anyone else on this planet, yet all the labels we give ourselves, Jesus doesn’t identify us by race, born gender, self identified gender or actions. He sees beyond that to your Soul & He is longing to give you a new label today- CHILD OF THE KING 👑♥️

Good Friday may have been the darkest day for humanity but it held 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳 to everything.
