GOT BARS?

This is a call out to all MCs, vocalists and lyricists heading to the festival this year - come and test your prowess at Twisted Frequency's annual hip-hop open mic, happening down at the Beat Bach on the 31st.

Hosted by Twisted regulars Young Gho$t and Emerald, alongside DJ Arekatera, this is an opportunity to express yourself through lyricism and be a part of a living, breathing freestyle cypher, as well as to share the stage with some of the talented rappers we have at the festival.

So get your rhymes prepared and come heat up the vibe ahead of the huge hip-hop takeover we have in store this year. All styles and experience levels are welcome - just keep it vibrant!

If it gets hot enough, we will have games and there may well be prizes to be won too...

This year's open mic session will be kicking off at 2pm on New Year's Eve - don't be late!
