Continuing with our month of love, here is a movie that is all about love and about probably not inhaling too much paint fumes. It has everything you’d want from a movie - car turning into a horse, parents telling art is not profitable, Overacting, Underacting, Sushil Chettri destroying furniture.

Also, this movie is perhaps the most metaphorically lustful movie I have seen. Hence it is metafohori.

Storyboarding - its my favorite pre-production tool. It allows us to visualize the shots, pre-edit what the scene is, and basically give a visual idea of what we are thinking to our crew.

After watching , I truly felt the movie was a celebration what Spider-Man as a character is.

It was also impossible to talk about the movie without talking about the spoilers in the movie.

So after a lengthy wait. Here are my thought on Spider-Man: No way Home. And mainly how its a great Spider-Man Film.

Mohra is a lot of things. It is a lot of action. It is a lot of cheesy dialog. It is a lot of Sunil Shetty being a unhinged madman. the amount of scenery Nasirudeen Shah chews in this movie is enough to feed a small nation in Africa.

I love this movie. so. freaking. much.

With a heart breaking depiction of the manic highs and lows of a doomed relationship, 's Cold/Mess video was a cornerstone story. & are just hauntingly raw in this story and 's direction weaves 's expressive camera work and edits in a tapestry of euphoria, depression and heartbreak.

The way cold/mess is shot, it feels more like we are intruding on this couple's life. Whether we should not see the crumbling of their intimacy. The grainy look and the shaky feel just adds to the intimate way cold/mess shows a love that is ephemeral and is not going to last. Just like the cutaways to the swimming pool - their love feels like a deep dive, both comforting and stifling. And at the end, only the silence of a love that was remains.

God I love this song and this video.

There is something raw about how 's is shot. Its aspect ratio is non-traditional, the colors are 'dirty' playing in hues of green and each shot feels high angle, as if the characters are powerless in their situation. It was a pleasure to run through this movie and its look. Also Props to Mithila Ma'ama nd for being absolute powerhouses in this movie. Amazing watch.

This blog basically started with me wanting to talk more about . His approach towards filmmaking has always resonated with me, how he merges the high concept with a story we are invested in. So it was probably a disservice to myself to hold on this post for so long.

To be honest, I still don't know how I feel about . A part of me loves it, a part of me feels the gaps and a part of me knows it is part of an artist's journey whose approach and worldview seems to be changing and its reflected in what he make.

There is no denying that was a convention defying movie during its release in 2012. It was raw, shaky and had a distinct grime to it - the cinematography just as chaotic as its themes. Although we may see the technical errors in it now, one must acknowledge the influence loot went on to have, making superstars of its ensemble cast in the process.
