Our film NARGIZ received the Special Award of TURKSOY () at the URKER International Animation Festival in Kazakhstan! Thank you, Jury! Thank you, Festival! Many thanks to ARKA (.culture.az) and the Ministry of Culture (.gov.az for supporting our film, and to our amazing team at ANIMAFILM Studio — especially our director, Masud Panahi! The award was accepted by the film’s producer and ANIMAFILM Studio’s director, Rashid Aghamaliyev (.aghamali).

Special thanks to the Festival for screening our film HADIS in the out-of-competition program!

A couple of days ago, the "Magical Tales" exhibition was opened at the Baku Photography House. Original materials from our NARGIZ film are on display, alongside materials from classical Azerbaijani animated films from the Soviet and modern eras. The exhibition showcases the history of Azerbaijani animation from 1969 to the present day!

Admission is free, and the exhibition will be open to all until January 10. Don't miss it!

The pre-production phase of "Nargiz," a short animated film by renowned Azerbaijani director Masud Panahi, has been completed and production has begun. Supported by the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA) and produced by ANIMAFILM Studio, the film aims to raise awareness about the dangers of landmines and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

Our film HADIS will be screened 7 times (!!!) in France at the Amnesty International Film Festival Festival Amnesty International Au Cinéma pour les Droits Humains! Marseille (March 8), Barcelonnette (March 18), Avignon (March 18 and March 27), Porto-Vecchio (March 18), Rians (March 18), Castellane (March 26). There will be an online Q&A with Nazrin on 18th. Thank you for having us!

This film is dedicated to the memory of 22-year-old Azerbaijani Turk Hadis Najafi, who was killed after being hit by 6 bullets from security forces during protests in Iran on September 21, 2022, and to those fighting against gender, ethnic and cultural discrimination in Iran.
