Walt said it best “[Walt Disney World] will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.”

And I believe that. I really do.

But today, my heart lingers a little longer on the water… on the raft rides, rope bridges, and riverboat that holds so many memories.

The Rivers of America weren’t just scenery, they were a story. A slower one. A simpler one. The kind you could float through.

I’m excited for what’s ahead, for Piston Peaks and new Disney Parks chapters yet to be written. But I’ll always carry a soft spot for that stretch of river.

Here’s to the Liberty Belle. To Tom Sawyer’s Island. And to every goodbye that makes room for what’s next. 💫
