Finished the Edelbrock AVS2 carb swap on my 1973 Chrysler Town & Country Wagon today. The Thermoquad was giving me fits. I was able to mount up the factory style steel fuel line right to the new carb, throttle linkage was perfect and the factory air cleaner fit just right too. I need a dual snorkel unit now! Drove it into town tonight and it ran great and started easy.

Stoked to have the wagon running well after a fresh carb swap. A little at a time and it keeps getting better and better...

Excellent evening at Willamette Speedway watching dirt track racing on a 1/3 mile dirt oval track. The coolest car there was a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner with a Superbird wing. It has a 340 and a 3-speed manual. While it didn’t win tonight it was the most fun to watch. The T&C Wagon was fantastic. Farthest from home for driven it so far. About a 25 minute drive both ways. Car ran great!

Tightened up the carb base to the intake, it was loose, checked for any vacuum leaks, changed spark plug wires and took it for a cruise into town. It’s running better than it has so far. Had to stop at the local Chrysler dealer and the O’Reilly Auto Parts for a few pics. Found a 72 Pontiac Catalina with a 400 and had to stop and say hello. You make new friends all over the place with classic cars.
