A Familiar Face from My Early Bus Enthusiast Days 🚌👦

Years ago, I met this man through a friend who also was a big fan of this bus company. Tuwing bibisita ako sa terminal nila para mag-picture ng buses (during holiday seasons) lagi nya akong ini-invite na mag-lunch. Then pag pauwi na ng Quezon or Manila, magbibigay sya ng discounts or trip passes — early perks for a kid who was just a big fan of this bus company.

12 years since our last encounter, dito sa Daet Terminal ko lang din pala sya makikita. I was waiting for our bus back to Cubao when I spotted him inside the ticketing booth. I introduced myself — di nya raw ako kilala (*medyo napahiya ako* 🫠) Pero nung binanggit ko yung mga Miniature Superlines tomica buses na madalas kong dalhin sa terminal noon, he instantly remembered me! 🥹

He’s been with Superlines for the past 40 years, and he says he’s got one more year left before retirement.

Really glad to see you in good health, sir Edgardo Leron! Thank you so much po for the short catch-up and for making my early bus enthusiast days truly special!
