Mi gente, when it comes to toxic relationships we can’t stay silent.

Healing is messy, brave, and beautifully human. 💛 In this week’s episode, Jessica sits with trauma therapist Rosa Casquino, LCSW to talk about breaking silence, recognizing toxic relationships, and reclaiming your power.

“My identity isn’t tied to titles or achievements — it’s tied to how I show up for myself.”

In this week’s episode of The Wine & Chisme Podcast, Rachel Matos returns to share her truth about identity, growth, and what it really means to evolve without losing yourself.

This conversation is a reminder that who you are matters more than what you do.

We need to continue to have conversations about women’s health, perimenopause and menopause and not only the physical toll it takes but the emotional one.

We’re not alone in this but only if we share our experiences and support one another.

This week’s episode features Rachel Matos, CEO and Founder of Refined Media Group, and let me tell you—this conversation hit different.

Rachel opened up about her bold decision to pivot from her previous business to create something that truly aligned with her purpose: building space for women, especially women of color, to lead with clarity, cultural pride, and strategy. Because here’s the truth she’s living—storytelling and digital presence aren’t just nice-to-haves. They’re tools for legacy building.

In a world that constantly tries to shrink our narratives, Rachel is helping women claim their space, amplify their voices, and own their stories with intention.

What’s happening now can bring up so many emotions at once. You’re not alone. I have so many things coming up daily that I’ve not posted much because I haven’t been able to properly articulate how I’m feeling.

So here we are. This is the best way I can share how I’m feeling without screaming into the void.

So if you’ve felt paralyzed, I get it. You’re not alone. But the best way to to move forward is to move forward. With words, with your money and not standing down.

Te amo, mi gente 🥰

What is The Wine & Chisme Podcast?

The Wine & Chisme Podcast was created to share the stories of everyday people doing extraordinary things to serve their community. Our host, Jessica Yañez brings her love for wine and passion for storytelling together to highlight the stories that need to be told in communities of color. Chisme (Spanish for gossip) comes from the interviewees themselves as they "spill the wine" on their own terms. So grab a glass of wine and join us for the new Wednesday. #WineAndChismeWednesday
