Has this ever occurred to any of you. A joke becoming soo not a joke anymore.
So sad it's... A Joke not so funny is one thing .. but a joke becoming so sad and depressing. Never thought a joke could something so horrible.

If you must know.. here it is;

Once, had a friend who wud say kaanada for Canada😂😂.. LMAO🤣🤣...would make him say everytime we met and 😅😅.. Poor, silly, genuinely stupid and hilarious he sounded.. nothing made me laugh so much.. Kaanada, he would say🤣
Ain't in touch with him for quite sometime now.Y'all know how life can keep us busy.

The other day, something reminded me of him and his soo stupid Kaanada.

I send him a text, out of blue,; to know if it's still Kaanada for him. I was missing him so much all of a sudden.I wanted to hear it once again from him and laugh like those days. So, I left a text on IG.
Didnt get a reply though.

Today, he left a text saying sorry for not replying soo long coz he was busy preparing for IELTs.. i jumped upon the opportunity and asked , why IELTs .. are you going kaanada or what?

He send back a voice note..
It's been three months, he is in Kaanada..

IDK why, his Kaanada doesn't sound funny or stupid anymore. Poor guy.. is now living in a country that he doesn't even know to pronounce. Luckily, here I am,typing this long and posting this ordeal ... to top it, he also got a job to go to everyday. I was only jobless until he send that voicenote ;but now am jokeless too... The fun is taken away from the only funny friend I had.

Covid's back in action again... Let's all hope and pray together this Christmas season, that he stays safe and healthy to f**k up something at job and get deported ASAP.

Ohh, God.. pls save him from covid.
If he dies there, he will be buried there for the rest of his life. That's so mean.. and unjust. Save my sad Joke. Make it funny again. Send him back home ... Amen..➕

P.S: pic posted above was clicked while i was typing this. Devastated and in deep pain. If he had never called it kaanada but Canada, i honestly don't think it would have made a difference.
