Last September my partner and sister surprised me with a birthday trip to York. It was the best because I didn’t plan it and I was so amazed by how beautiful it is.

I had forgotten about these photos until today. We visited York Minster, the Jorvik Viking Centre, and The Shambles which looks straight out of Harry Potter. York might be the most beautiful place I have seen in the UK so far and it has a similar vibe to Edinburgh but smaller and cosier..

One of my go-to trips when I have friends or family over in Edinburgh! It is a bit of a drive but it never disappoints.

This castle is just outside of Kelso in the Scottish Borders. It has a beautiful tour, but no photos are allowed inside, so you’ll have to see it for yourself! With the River Tweed nearby and fields full of sheep, there are some really nice walks around the estate. The walled garden is also a peaceful place to wander through.

Successfully procrastinating on uni work… so here’s a few shots from an impromptu visit to Dollar with ! We hadn’t planned to stop, but we couldn’t resist when we saw the river lined with these gorgeous cherry blossom trees.
The styles don’t totally match, but I love each photo individually! 🥰
