KSA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka combines sustainability, immersive design, and cultural references to traditional Saudi architecture. Designed by Foster + Partners, the project features a spatial layout inspired by the streets and courtyards of Saudi towns. It integrates low-carbon materials, rooftop photovoltaics, and a DfMA-based structural system for fast, efficient assembly. The pavilion is fully accessible and aims for net-zero operational carbon while achieving Japan’s highest green building rating, CASBEE S.
