The P. O. P. Campaign Popcorn Fundraiser hosted by Double Good has come to an end.

The iCreate Peace Foundation is hosting our 1st community event - The Mental Health Peace Rally. We are providing a safe space for students and parents to have the conversation about mental wellness. We want students to know their voices are being heard and we have Teachers, Counselors, and Mental Health Professionals to help guide the conversation. We want to equip students and parents with the tools and resources they need when faced with mental health challenges.

Look who I ran into out here in these Miracle On 34th Streets!!!! I mean I was literally walking out of Kroger - minding my peace - pushing my cart of with few groceries. I look up and it’s in the flesh! He was headed inside to grab items for his meal prep this week.

I had the honor of interviewing this dope dude on the Peace & Czarinaty Podcast. He has overcome so much and he is a walking testimony.

On this day 4yrs ago I completed the last of 33 rounds of radiation therapy. It was the last of my treatment plan following, chemotherapy, a lumpectomy, and reconstructive surgery.

Words can’t even begin to describe what I feel on this day or what I felt on this day in 2018. All I know is that I am BLESSED beyond measure! 🙌🏾

As my healing journey continues to that much anticipated 5yr mark, I know there is still so much work to be done regarding this global burden of a disease called breast cancer. The racial disparities regarding treatment and access to care or screenings when it comes to African American women, continues to be a huge issue that negatively affect or community - so much so, we are dying at a much higher rate.

As we end the month of October, please continue to support the fight and efforts of those who are trying implement change surrounding breast cancer patients, treatment, and access.

When you get a moment, please go back and watch the replay Both Sides of the Conversation from yesterday. You will be enlightened, encouraged, and empowered to get involved.

I am blessed to be called Survivor, Thriver, and HEALED! 🙌🏾 However, I realize everyone cannot say the same. Let’s do what we can to bring about change. 🎀🦾🎀💕💕💕
