How heavy will the weight be that bears down on me?

Can I survive it?

⚠️ IMMINENT THREAT – EMERGENCY! - SEVERE THREAT INCOMING ⚠️

Suddenly slammed into the ground

Winded. Disoriented. Can’t breathe

PINNED DOWN

The weight

CRUSHING

Panic

RISING.

I can FREEZE. Succumb. Play Dead. Hope to wake from this nightmare.

RISING

I can FAWN. Pacify. Reason. Bargain. Beg. But no-one hears me.

RISING

I can FLEE. Escape. Scramble. Push. Pull. Flail. The weight will not budge.

*RISING!*

Blinding!

Hit with the immense force of an 💥ATOMIC EXPLOSION💥 of all-consuming PANIC & PAIN.

Searing its energy into each of my cells

Excruciating

It is a part of me now

THE PAIN

I can’t see

THE PAIN

I can’t hear

OH, THE PAIN

I can’t breathe

But

I FEEL

Hot

I FEEL

Ferocious burning inside

I FEEL

NUCLEAR energy within

Breathe. Pull back. PULL BACK!

Fights every instinct inside.

Mask appears externally. NO CHANGE internally.

(A visitor arrived unannounced)

An explosion of sudden demands.

“Hi, so good to see you, come in, have a cuppa” - through gritted teeth as I fight to hold it together instead of launching them out of the nearest window.
