🚨 Baby Found Abandoned — 4 Family Members Later Found Deceased in Tennessee Tragedy
A devastating story has shaken communities in West Tennessee. A 7-month-old baby girl was found abandoned in a stranger’s front yard — and hours later, four of her immediate family members were found deceased.
On July 29, 2025, around 3:11 p.m., the infant was discovered in a car seat near the road in front of a home off Old Highway 20 in Tigrett, located in Dyer County. The child had been left in extreme heat, with temperatures reaching over 113°F. A witness saw a vehicle — described as a dark minivan or white SUV — leave the child and speed away.
Thankfully, the baby was unharmed and taken to the hospital for care.
Later that same day, deputies in Lake County, roughly 25 miles away, were called to a home on Carrington Road in Tiptonville, where four individuals were found deceased.
🧩 Victims Identified — Confirmed Family
Authorities have now confirmed that the deceased were the baby’s immediate family members:
• Matthew Wilson, 21 — the infant’s father
• Adrianna Williams — the infant’s mother
• Cortney Rose, 38 — the infant’s maternal grandmother
• Braydon Williams, 15 — the infant’s uncle
The connection between the abandoned baby and the deceased has been officially confirmed. Law enforcement had been actively searching for the adults in relation to the infant’s abandonment before their bodies were found.
🕵🏽♀️ Active Investigation
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and FBI are working alongside local law enforcement. While the case is still unfolding, authorities say the incidents are directly connected. As of now, no official cause of d3ath has been released, and the circumstances surrounding both the abandonment and the d3aths remain under investigation.
The tragedy has deeply impacted the community, with many expressing heartbreak over the loss of life — especially that of 15-year-old Braydon Williams, who was still a child himself.
Law enforcement is asking anyone with information to contact the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office at (731) 285-2802.
