Inverness International Blues Festival
Sat 28 Mar 2026 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Northern Meeting Park, IV3 5NS

Kevin Hillier is an experienced Blues Promoter and aficionado.

His role is instrumental in sourcing and securing the world-class international blues acts for the festival, which is expected to draw visitors globally.
He has been quoted as saying, "We are taking this Festival back to the Blues Festivals of old with some of the best international Blues acts seen together in the UK for some time."

The first Scottish Blues and Progressive Music Festival was held in Inverness in The Caledonian Stadium the 1970s. Was any of yous there?

Kevin was the owner of "Ain't Nothin' But - The Blues Bar" in Soho, London, for 27 years until 2020. It was known as one of Europe's best-loved blues clubs, featuring live music every night.
He ran Mijas Blues Festival n Spain from 2007 to 2014, he now has the La Herradura International Blues Festival in La Herradura, a coastal town in the province of Granada.

As well as previewing some of the acts I'll be exploring Kevin's illustrious life promoting The Blues and asking the question - Granada to Caledonia why?
