This view never gets old. Followed the tip of rope dropping Rise of Resistance during early entry at Hollywood Studios. One of the coolest attractions around! We got to ride it again in the evening with only 25 min wait.

I LOVE Carousel, but in my defense, 2022 was exhausting.

A friend asked me this week: "Should I bother getting a stroller for the kids (9yo & 6 yo)?" ...

It might not be something you'd opt to do. But when ours were that age, we rented a double stroller. And boy were we glad we did.

The kids certainly walked places, but having the option to sit when they got tired was great. There was 0 arguments over whose turn it was to ride, b/c they both had a seat.

As a bonus, we had a place to stash the backpack when they did opt to walk. I do miss that option these days...

What would you say? Yay or nay for renting a stroller for not-so-little ones (6-9yo)?

Some towel creatures from our Disney Cruise 🚢 and ...

Finally getting around to all of our cruise content. The room steward got super creative near the end of our cruise. Enough that the kids' sleep friends started joining in.

The adage is true: Cast Members ARE the magic 🫶 ✨ - even on the high seas

Throwback to a simpler time when leaders were chosen by pulling 🗡️ from 🪨 ...

I love that we were able to capture this magical moment. Mac was 5 at the time, and that smile stayed on her face all day long.

It has NEVER worked for me. Have you ever pulled the sword from the stone?

❓Wait for the kids to be older before doing Disney❓...

Your mileage may vary, but here's what we found when we took the kids while they were under 3:
✨ It's not just about rides - there was plenty for little ones to do and experience
✨ Resort with little ones are an experience in and of themselves
✨ Kids under 3 are FREE (we milked that for all it was worth 😅)
✨ We (the Adult Kids) still had fun enjoying rides
✨ Kids 2 and under ate FREE at the buffets (at least the ones we went to)

But by far the biggest benefit has been the memories we as parents have, experiencing the parks through our children's eyes. Everything just hits different.

Sure, they may not remember the experience, but there is tremendous value in building my own memories in having the kids experience the magic.

These are definitely not the only reasons - why would you suggest taking the little ones to Disney?......

🎃 Happy Halloween!! 🎃 ...

A Main Street Pumpkin Photo has become a 'must-do' for us since we first took the kids during the fall. In about 2-3 days, this same shot will be replaced with a massive Christmas Tree. The overnight transformation is 🤯.

Several years ago, we lingered during closing and saw the begging of the decoration procession. As one group removes the Halloween decor, another is right behind it with the Christmas decor.

Even more impressive: the planters in front, and around, the park were re-planted for the holidays. So brace yourselves: Christmas @ Disney is coming.

Some Halloween Party photos 🎃 ...

It's Halloween Time, so I thought I'd _finally_ get to posting some photos from this year's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Top 3 Tips:
✅ We got into the park right at 4p, grabbed a bite, and hit a couple of rides so we were ready-to-go by party time (7p).

✅ The last Sanderson Sisters show was the BEST with a very small crowd

✅ We saw the fireworks in the hub right near the Tomorrowland Bridge. There was a slight obstruction with a tree to the sky, but we had a great view of the castle.

The Spotter crew really enjoyed this year's party. We focused more on character greetings and show than we did rides, and even the kids thought that made for a better experience than last time. I'll have some of those character photos out later this week.

Night photography is obviously _not_ my specialty 🙃, but a few things I tried did come out alright.

The Halloween Tree has Awakened ...

The Disney Wish’s Halloween Tree show is worth checking out while onboard. Once “awakened”, each pumpkin depicts a different element or character from Cinderella

That face in the middle can be a bit ... unsettling depending on the angle though 😅

I've been terrible with getting our latest Halloween on the High Seas photos out.

TBH, it's mostly been due to messaging with several wonderful new followers who entered our Disney Gift Card giveaway on Instagram (see story highlight in the profile)

Photos of our Disney Wish stateroom. We did a Guaranteed Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah (Category 04a).

The kids love the bunk bed setup, but this room can actually SLEEP 5! There's a murphy bed just to the side of the bunk beds.

There are 2 separate bathrooms with vanities. I only posted the Shower because the other one is a toilet and vanity and ... not very exciting to look at. Unless ... unless you like looking at toilets - and hey, that's OK.

We did a Guaranteed stateroom where DCL picks the room for you.

The specific room is 10094 and featured Moana artwork & theming. It is right below the pool deck, but we didn't notice any extra noise while we were in the room.
