James is an Orlando-based painter whose work is born from survival, healing, and raw honesty.

James works primarily with acrylics, moving fluidly between expressionism and surrealism to translate the complexity of his mental health journey onto canvas.

For James, painting became more than a skill. It became a way forward. His art now speaks what words couldn’t… That we can feel both the light and the dark. That we are not alone and that beauty can exist within both.

His story is one of courage and his work, a lifeline for anyone needing to hear it.
