Sometimes plans fall through and don’t turn out the way you want them too.
And that’s okay.
Actually, it’s awesome.
Because if we can see these “broken plans” as “purposeful redirections” life begins to become really interesting
Trust the path. Trust every hiccup and believe that everything is unfolding as it’s meant to.

Sometimes you get into a funk.
And it’s hard to get out of. Lately there has been a lot going on between travelling, work and the kids’ birthday’s. It’s in these moments of busyness that I hide behind excuses for not mowing forward (spiritually, physically or financially).
It’s hard to constantly be working at something and when I fail to meet my (perhaps unrealistic) expectations I feel guilty and quite frankly feel like giving up.
But an inspirational mentor of mine sent me some tough love earlier today and it gave me the oomph I needed, to surrender to the guilt, set some achievable goals and envision what’s truely important to me and keep working towards that dream ... a little, every single day.

Just me and my beautiful country.
Lately I’ve been pondering on how god damn fast life is (especially when you have kids and watch them multiply before your eyes).
It makes me think more than ever to live the life you want and follow that “YES” feeling (thank you .salmon for introducing me to this revolutionary way of thinking)
Life is supposed to be easy ... but only if we listen to the messages guiding us along the way.
Take some time to tune into those answers, because it will make the journey a hell of a lot smoother 👊🏼

Just living the dream with my best friend.
Every day in the late afternoon we scroll down to the beach with beers, children and sand castle toys in hand and unwind, chat about how our days were, but most importantly what we want in life.
Our goals and visions are always the same but the way to get there often change (daily 😂)
I find so much value and gratitude in these afternoons chats and feel it’s imperative for our family and growth as partners.

Yes we’re lucky, but we also made this dream become a reality because we wanted a more simple life by nature so we made it happen
