I picked up this Nervis V2 a little while ago for a crazy good deal! I’m slowly getting it dialed in to be up to modern standards while still keeping it somewhat true to original form.

Since getting it I have rebuilt the shocks with all Topline internals, shortened the rear arms and widened the toe blocks, built a ball diff with d-like strong type out drives, added my custom battery tray, and messed around a whole lot with alignment. Bump steer is a pretty big issue with the “front rack” setup but I think adding some kpi will help a lot.

Electronics wise, I’m loving my new Topline DM-III, but can’t say the same for the mc970cr. Powerband is a little too weird for a more touchy car. I’ll be swapping over to a sanwa SV-D2 sometime soon.
