I wish my brain was better at balancing work and life! 😩

I once spent 18 hours working non-stop! I didn’t even know it was possible but I was super motivated and lost track of time 😬

I genuinely enjoy working but now, I try to practice having self-care days to keep me from burning out! ❤️

beginnings are always so tricky! 🙁

I remember my fair share of struggles. Name it!

From overworking, handling lowball clients, feeling as if my dream is simply too far, or even questioning myself! 😶‍🌫️

But looking back, I would not be where I am today without any of those struggles. In each step, there's a lesson, and I would never skip one if I were to repeat it again.

Well, I didn't lie, but I did leave a really
important detail behind 🤭

keki.kreatives was actually born on my 17th birthday!

AND YES it was just last year since I started freelancing. "HUH?? Maggie, you're only 17 years
old???" I know, I get that A LOT - in texts, calls, even in discovery calls HAHAHA

🧐 so about that origin story..
I started my whole freelance journey on the 6th of August. And if you're asking why I even planned on doing that - I DID NOT!! Aug 6 happened to be the
onboarding meeting for my 1st ever internship in my life, and it was with my favvv mentor, Ms. Chezca of . YAH! I'm a product of that woman HAHAHA I owe everything to her, really I do.

As you might see when you browse (and follow) my IG account, I've started exploring the Branding niche, up until I fell in love with marketing - social media marketing. From then on, I went ahead and helped people with a strong vision and passion for success. This is a trait that I have, so clients who share that trait is everything!

long story short, keki.kreatives will be turning 1 as I will be turning 18!! 🥳

Social Media Managers!! How's everything going? 🤭

So, about that New Page Experience. I gotta give it to them, it was indeed cleaner and helped separate Facebook for work and personal life. However, an effect of this is that we have to adjust - learning where things are, how this change works, and all that...

This is why I want to ask you - was this change helpful? or was it stressful instead?

Most SMMs get this with "Aren't you just posting on Facebook?" with a side of "Is that actually a real job?" 🤧

It just makes me want to do a cartwheel at the edge of a cliff 😂

Your content won't always attract sales nor
would it be "successful" - you can't control that.

BUT what you can control is your brand and your
content's value.

Creating valuable content solidifies the trust your
customers have in your brand, having the right content
helps you to be perceived as someone with credibility.

Even if that one post did not go viral nor did it generate you sales yet, don't delete!

It doesn't mean your social media presence isn't of help at all. So continue to give value to the
industry of your niche by creating wholesome content!

I'M OFFICIALLY BACK!!!

It's been months since I've last posted and I've been wanting to reconnect with you for such a long time ❤

But hey! After lots of time figuring out what I really wanted to do, I decided to pursue a career in the marketing side of things ✨

Yes, I m now a Social Media Manager and Marketer and I'm super excited about what lies ahead!

For the past few months, I've trained and gone through internships are internships to really understand what it was like to be an SMM, and let me tell you - IT WAS NOT EASY

I've worked with different people, with different attitudes and it was really difficult!

Planning and scheduling and even designing may seem simple but it's not easy at all!

Never-ending algorithms, proposals, and meetings - it was simply exhausting

But aside from all that, the most valuable lesson I learned was that it gets harder before it gets easier 💯

And, no, I won't replace the hard-earned lessons I gained for an easier route 👑

We all know that freelancer success stories almost
always starts with "I was once a corporate slave.." or "I am a college dropout.." because they defied the odds. They stood out because of THEIR STORY!

People don't buy products, they buy stories ✨

People will buy your products, yes. But, people will
continue supporting your brand if your story leaves a mark on them!

I've been there before, I offered my services but they said "No".

To be honest, I was a bit bummed but I found out that THEY WERE NOT MY TARGET MARKET! 😌

If they say no, it means that THEY ARE NOT YOUR TARGET MARKET

You need to find who you should really offer you products/services to. You might just be barking at the wrong tree! 🍰
