FIFA appoints Weah to head anti-racism Players' Voice Panel.

FIFA unveiled a star-studded 16-member Players' Voice Panel on Friday to tackle racism in the sport, with former Ballon d'Or winner George Weah leading the charge alongside greats like Didier Drogba and Brazilian Olympic stalwart Formiga.

The diverse group spans men's and women's players from 14 countries and will advise on anti-racism strategies, participate in educational programes and contribute to reforms across football.

"These 16 panel members will support education at all levels of the game and promote new ideas for lasting change," FIFA President Gianni Infantino said in a statement.

"They will further push for a shift in football culture, making sure measures to counter racism are not just talked about, but actioned, both on and off the pitch.

"Let's be clear on this: racism and discrimination are not simply wrong – they are crimes. All incidents of racism, whether in stadiums or online, must be fully punished both by football and across society."

A black American is experiencing life in Liberia and making it his home. In the second video, he emphasized that adopting local customs is the most effective way to navigate the country, as it allows for cost savings and a more authentic experience. His approach is certainly validated, as this strategy is essential for survival when visiting. Liberia can be expensive, and failing to establish a budget can lead to unforeseen financial difficulties.

On the funnier side, he tried his best with the Koloqua. 🎥Be Free With Maelia Bee // TikTok

✨ Breaking Stereotypes: Bassa Dudu Sr Crowned Mr. Liberia 2025/2026!✨

For years, pageantry in Liberia has carried a heavy stigma when it comes to men. Many believed it was a platform reserved for “feminine-appearing men,” leaving others hesitant to participate. But this year, something major just shifted the culture.

Calvin Ulysses Tuning, popularly known as Bassa Dudu Sr, has defied expectations and proudly walked away with the Mr. Liberia 2025/2026 crown. His victory not only cements him as the face of male pageantry in the country but also challenges outdated narratives about masculinity and self-expression.

Liberians are already buzzing online, praising him for breaking barriers and showing that male pageantry isn’t just about looks—it’s about confidence, intellect, and representation.

Could this be the start of a new wave of acceptance for men in pageantry? With Bassa Dudu Sr leading the way, the stage looks set for a cultural shift. 👑🇱🇷

Nuchie Meek Speaks Out: “LIBERIA IS STILL IN 2007!”

Liberian rapper Nuchie Meek has set social media on fire after dropping a bold message that many say reflects the frustration of ordinary citizens.

In his post, Nuchie asked the hard questions most politicians avoid:
Where are the government-owned recreational facilities, public libraries, and city parks to keep kids off the streets?
Why are there no national debates, quizzes, or annual sports tournaments to motivate the youth?
Why are citizens being overcharged at the “Free Port”, while government officials clear their goods for free?
Why are iconic sites like Ducor Hotel and Hotel Africa still in ruins after more than 20 years of peace?
And why are officials earning sky-high salaries while the roads take over a decade to complete?

Nuchie didn’t stop there—he also highlighted how “social media platforms pay creators worldwide but not in Liberia”, which explains why so many Liberian entertainers, scholars, and professionals travel abroad and rarely return.

His post echoes a growing trend of “public figures using their platforms to speak up”. Just recently, fellow artist “Kobazzie” also called out organizers of the “Say No to Drugs” campaign, accusing them of corruption and chasing personal gain.

Together, these voices show that Liberian entertainers aren’t just making music—they’re demanding accountability and pushing conversations that matter.

Do you agree with Nuchie Meek that Liberia feels stuck in 2007?

Nigeria’s DNA Drama: 1 in 4 Fathers Not the Biological Dad – Will Liberia Be Next?

The entertainment world is buzzing with shocking news out of Nigeria! A brand-new report from “Smart DNA Nigeria” has revealed that “one in every four paternity tests comes back negative”, meaning the presumed father is not the biological dad.

The 2025 Annual DNA Testing Report (covering July 2024 to June 2025) shows a jaw-dropping “25% mismatch rate”, and social media is already labeling it a full-blown “paternity crisis.”

Here are the biggest bombshells:

“Most DNA requests came from men”, with nearly half of them aged “41 and above”.
“Children under five” made up the majority of cases, as families rush for early answers.
The most shocking stat? 64% of firstborns—especially boys—were found not to be biologically related to their presumed fathers.” That’s way higher than later-born siblings!

The report is sparking heated debates across Africa. Nigerians are already calling it “the biggest scandal of the year.” But the big question is—will Liberia and other African countries see the same trend if more men start demanding DNA tests?

For now, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram are flooded with memes, heated discussions, and wild stories of men questioning their “firstborns.” Some say it’s a wake-up call for truth and trust, while others warn it could break more homes than it fixes.

What do you think—should DNA testing become a must for every child at birth, or is this report about to open more family drama than Africa is ready for?
