যতবার লেখাটা পড়েছি মুগ্ধ হয়েছি,
বন্ধুত্ব তো এমনি হয়!

মা'ইল'স্টো'নে দূ*র্ঘট*নার পর বেঁ'চে যাওয়া একজন
ছাত্র তার আ*হত বন্ধুকে ক্লাসরুম থেকে ফিরিয়ে
আনতে গিয়েছিল।
ফা*য়ার ব্রি'গে'ডের অ'ফিসার বা'ধা দিয়ে বললেন,
"এর কোনো লাভ নেই! তোমার বন্ধু অবশ্যই মা*রা
যাবে"।

কিন্তু ছাত্রটি তখনও গিয়ে তার বন্ধুকে একা একা ফিরিয়ে আনল।
মৃ*তদে*হ দেখে ফায়ার ব্রি'গে'ডের অ*ফিসার বলে, "আমি তোমাকে বলেছিলাম এর কোন মূ'ল্য নেই।
সে মা*রা গেছে"।

ছাত্র'টি উত্তর দেয়: 'না স্যার, এটা সত্যিই মূল্যবান ছিল। যখন আমি তার কাছে গেলাম, সে তখনও জী"বিত ছিলো - আমার বন্ধু আমাকে দেখে, হাসল এবং তার শেষ কথাটা বলল:
❝আমি জানতাম তুমি আসবে❞।
