A Wi******er man, Quinn Aaron McKellips, has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the fentanyl-related death of 30-year-old Calin Sender. This marks the second jury trial conviction in Riverside County for a fentanyl-related homicide.

Evidence presented at trial showed that McKellips supplied multiple types of narcotics to the victim over several months, including lethal fentanyl-laced pills that led to Sender’s death.

PRESS RELEASE - FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH

Menifee, CA – On September 11, 2025, at approximately 05:15 a.m., the Menifee Police Department responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision on Domenigoni Parkway, east of Laguna Vista Drive.

Upon arrival, officers located a Kia Sportage with minor damage and found a 61-year-old male from Hemet, CA in the vehicle, who was the only occupant. CAL FIRE and AMR responded to the scene. The male driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Menifee Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

Preliminary findings indicate that the vehicle was traveling east on Domenigoni Parkway at an unknown speed when it crossed over the concrete center median and came to rest in the westbound lanes of traffic. The driver was unresponsive and possibly suffered a medical emergency. Alcohol and/or drugs are not suspected to have been a contributing factor in the collision.
