East Wenatchee police are searching for a 35-year-old man they say attempted to give a 13-year-old Eastmont Junior High School student a phone to contact him. His alleged name is Kenneth Crabtree. If seen, please call East Wenatchee Police at 509-884-9511 or Rivercom dispatch at 509-663-9911

First-year wildland firefighter Kayla Rosario took this photo of a crew battling the Batterman Fire in Douglas County. By Monday night, the fire had burned 7,900 acres and Level 3 evacuations remain in place for Rock Island Grade and the north side of Batterman Road. Level 2 notice continues for Indian Camp and Level 1 for the Palisades. Dozers and crews continue to build containment lines as two helicopters and three large air tankers attack the fire from the air.

*MISSING PERSON*
The Wenatchee Police Department is asking for your assistance in locating, Larry Maugh, a missing person believed to be in the Wenatchee valley. Larry is in his 50s and was last seen wearing black sweat pants, a black rock and roll t-shirt, brown sandals with white socks, and is roughly 5’11” tall with a bald head. His whereabouts remain unknown at this time. We are asking that any information regarding his location be reported to Rivercom at 509-663-9911 -1K19
