Okay I am aware that it’s been almost a week since I last streamed and I failed to bring in a watch party for Red vs Blue. I apologize as my personal life has gotten…interesting as of late. I have started the morning shift aka OFFICIAL BUSINESS HOURS at my full-time job and it’s taken sometime getting used to the new schedule. I have to come up with a new set of rules like what time to wake up and what times I should stream this or that. I even started doing more personal errands to help me with a hopefully better future. Don’t worry, I will be back on Sunday during the podcast where I will explain more on what’s to come for the new schedule going forward.

As for Red Vs Blue, I’m gonna be honest with you, I still haven’t taken the shut down of Rooster Teeth even after 2 months. I shouldn’t have made that event via Facebook and honestly I don’t even know WHEN I am going to attempt it. I should’ve been more thorough in my approach, but then again the entire month of June has been super UNCOOPERATIVE. I will have to try and delete that event I guess. Again, I apologize for not being as forthcoming as I intended. I am not a fan of out of nowhere and/or all sudden changes, thus making me having to adapt constantly-hence why I’ve started doing these personal errands so I can avoid that going forward. Anyway, I’ll be back this upcoming Sunday for the Crimson Arts Podcast at 2:30pm EST. Hope to see you then.

"DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOU TO MAKE IT EPIC?" is a line spoken by Dementus played brilliantly AND TERRIFINGLY well by Chris Hemsworth in in the latest entry in George Miller's HISTORIC epic Wasteland Apocalyptical universe. It was a line spoken directly towards Anya Taylor's Furiosa, but it felt like George Miller was questioning himself upon making this very movie. Well, George certainly made it epic alright, just like he's always done. Unlike most other Mad Max movies, where it is just a simple stand alone adventure that features car chases/truck chases/bike chases/mixed chases, this is the only one to be both a SPIN-OFF/Prequel to the last film, which just so happens to be my personal favorite action film of all time, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. This film follows the origin of Furiosa herself, where she came from, how she ended up being the badass Imperator that she was in Fury Road. I get very nervous when a franchise gets a prequel in their midst. Sometimes it works like X-Men First Class, Star Wars Ep 3/Rogue One. Sometimes it is just HORRIBLE TO EVEN SIT THROUGHT like 2011's The Thing, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Yet this is a movie set in the Mad Max universe, and it is being made by George Miller. I love George Miller, so I was bit more optimistic on this film which thankfully succeeded all my personal expectations. AS expected from a Kennedy Miller Mitchell Production for a Mad Max film, you get the intense action, badass Ju**ie XL soundtrack, heavy saturation which makes this world look SUPER distinctive. However, I wasn't expecting how deeply enriching Furiosa's backstory actually was and it deepens the impact for what happens in MM: Fury Road. My only drawback is that the visual effects (especially the CGI) a bit of a downgrade compared to Fury Road. As well as the pacing could've been done a bit better. Other than that, this was a total blast and DESERVES to be in theaters. PLEASE, GO SEE THIS MOVIE IN THE BIGGEST POSSIBLE SCREEN. I want more Mad Max movies and the fact this flopped in the box office during MEMORIAL WEEKEND breaks my heart. So PLEASE grab some friends and see this movie. YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
