Wow! 2024 was just beyond bizarre. Super-highs, and unbelievably disappointing lows, but at least the music was flowing! So with that being said, here’s a playlist I compiled of new music, rediscoveries & songs forgotten, and some music that I had the pleasure to work on that ultimately kept me moving throughout the year. I should mention these are in no particular order, other than the #1 spot.
First off, thanks to for turning me onto Beak>. They slipped past me and are now a favorite, thanks dude. Also, shout outs to and for their excellent work on Black Gold’s release ‘Kintsugi’. Made my job super easy, and it’s become a favorite in our house. I also failed to mention Scrabble’s latest earlier in the year. Dan Lee gave us ‘December 68’ on his latest EP - thank you for letting me be a part of this one as it’s become my favorite single in the Scrabbel catalog! I also had the honor of remixing Daniel Kobialka’s classic ‘Blue Spirals’ last year, and the good man Chris Ryan provided the stellar cover art, thank you for your divine vision. And a major thanks to everybody that supported the Society of Rockets in 2024. Looking forward to March as we enter the hallowed halls of once more.
