Request to Reopen Tourist Spot Doodhpathri to Address Rising Unemployment Among Educated Youth

Respected Sir,

With due respect, I am writing to bring to your kind attention the pressing issue of unemployment among thousands of educated youth in our region. In light of this, I humbly request your esteemed office to consider the reopening of the tourist destination Doodhpathri at the earliest.

Doodhpathri has long been a source of livelihood for many local families, especially the youth who are engaged in tourism-related services such as guiding, pony rides, handicrafts, food stalls, transportation, and homestays. The closure of this tourist spot has adversely affected their income, forcing many into financial hardship and uncertainty.

The reopening of Doodhpathri would not only revive the local economy but also align with the vision of promoting sustainable tourism and self-reliance in the region. With appropriate safety protocols and infrastructure in place, this initiative could create immediate employment opportunities and restore hope among the unemployed youth.

We are confident that under your dynamic leadership, J&K will continue to thrive and that the aspirations of our youth will be given due consideration.
