T
Nelson Mandela....
The quote "love is inborn, hate is taught" suggests that love is a natural human emotion, while hatred is learned through upbringing and societal influences. who believed that hatred is a learned behavior, and that people can be taught to love if they can be taught to hate.

There is just too much hate in this country based on ethnicity, religion and political lines. In a country that prides it's self to be a Christian Nation this level of toxicity and hate in the political arena exposes our hypocritical christianity. We have more Religious people than true God fearing and practicing Christians.
What are teaching our children in our homes. I believe everything starts in the home. If I teach my children to love everyone regardless of tribe, social status, creed, religion am planting a seed of love. I teach my children that . Yet I have Heard families who vow that their children can never marry from a certain tribe ..To my shock these are people who on Sundays wear church uniforms and pray the loudest. How can you plant hate in your homes and expect not to manifest on the nation level. Our Pastors and church leaders have not helped much because some have infact added fire to this problem by their clear bias especially for certain political parties or political leaders . This creates polarized churches. This who mess is abused by politicians who take advantage of the lack of true love to divide us ..That is why this Hate is more prominent on the political landscape.
We must not allow HATE to divide us .
What are you doing to conquer hate. This is a challenge to everyone who is a Zambian.
Let love lead YES.. BUT LET US PRACTICE LOVE

GOVERNMENT COMMENTS ON EMMANUEL JAY BANDA'S FRIDAY INTERROGATION

The statement reads...

Press Statement by the Acting Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Hon. Ambrose Lufuma, MP

1st June 2024 - Good evening, countrymen and women.

I wish to address the recent developments concerning Honourable Jay Banda. Yesterday, 31st May 2024, Honourable Banda was discharged from Maina Soko Medical Centre. Upon his discharge, he was invited to the Zambia Police Service Headquarters for an interview, during which he was accorded all the privileges befitting a witness. This included being interviewed in the presence of his legal counsel, Mr. Sakwiba Sikota.
The interview primarily focused on Honourable Banda's disappearance on 25th May 2024. Regrettably, Honourable Banda was unable to provide the police with any information regarding the circumstances of his disappearance.
Following the completion of the interview related to his disappearance, Honourable Banda was escorted to the police station concerning other ongoing investigations. During this process, Honourable Banda was booked for detention in relation to alleged offences of attempted murder and assault that occurred in 2016 in Vumbwi of Eastern Province.
It was during his booking that Honourable Banda developed a medical condition which necessitated his immediate admission to Maina Soko Medical Centre, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
I would like to emphasize that Honourable Banda has not been formally charged for the alleged offences at this time. The police are continuing their active investigation into the matter of his disappearance as well as the aforementioned allegations.
We are committed to ensuring that due process is followed and that Honourable Banda receives all necessary medical care and legal rights during this period.
I thank you for your attention and understanding as we continue to monitor and address this situation with the seriousness it warrants.
As Acting Minister of Home Affairs and Internal security I wish to provide an update regarding the situation at Chipata Football Grounds in Mandevu Constituency, where the opposition New Heritage Party (NHP) had been advised due to security concerns not to hold a political rally today, 1st June 2024.
Despite the advice from the law enforcement, the NHP attempted to go ahead with their planned event. To uphold the rule of law and maintain public order, police personnel were deployed to the area this morning.
At approximately 11:00 hours, an individual approached the football grounds to observe the situation. This individual was confronted by one of our uniformed officers, leading to a misunderstanding. Subsequently, other under the false impression that their colleague had been arrested began to march towards the football grounds.
The police intervened promptly, advising these individuals to return within Chipata Compound. I am pleased to report that there have been no serious incidents related to this matter thus far. The Zambia Police Service fully supports the democratic rights of all political parties and citizens to assemble and express their views. However, these rights must be exercised within the bounds of the law. Any activities that potentially endanger public safety or disrupt societal harmony will face necessary regulatory actions.
The Zambia Police Service remains committed to ensuring public safety and upholding the law. We continue to monitor the situation closely and are prepared to take necessary action to prevent any escalation.
We appeal to all political parties and their supporters to respect the law and follow proper procedures for organizing public gatherings. Cooperation with law enforcement authorities is crucial in maintaining peace and order within our communities.

Thank you.

Hon. Ambrose Lufuma, MP
Acting Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security

JJ SLAPPED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER

By Rick Nchito

JJ Banda goes in from Maina Soko Military Hospital to cell and has been slapped with attempted murder.

He started fitting and now has been rushed to Maina Soko. Now he wants to stay in the hospital longer and yet he is not sick.

The international community visited him in hospital and lied to them that he was not given medicine when medical results showed that he wasn't sick and he didn't have any bruises on his body.

Medical reports as seen by Koswe, show that JJ is very fit and healthy, actually more than before he faked abduction.

Like he faked abduction, JJ is now faking sickness when he is not sick at all. He would rather be in hospital than in police cells.

And from the other hospital ward, Tribalist Mabonga is also at Maina Soko after being told by her lawyer that she has been slapped with another charge, she fainted and when at hospital nothing has been found on her. She was found fit like JJ.

Mwebantu ba kwa Lesa. As you know God is a just God. What if UPND govt had nothing to do with JJ whom do you think the just God will side with? Because if you observe the entire UKA membership were literally pointing fingers at government. They even camped at Ibex Police station demanding for JJ. They threatened to walk naked. They called them evil and ba Nawakwi, went further and said HH had abducted JJ.

Now if it is revealed that government had absolutely nothing to do with his disappearance what should it do with those who had accused it?

The thing that is annoying about the JJ issue, is PF blaming HH for his disappearance. Why not rely on police to do their work?

PF official on the run after staging armed robbery, beating cops at Lsk Central Police

Petauke's Emmanuel Jay Jay Banda
Police in Lusaka are on a manhunt for Patriotic Front Eastern Province Youth Chairperson Emmanuel J Banda, commonly known as Jay Jay, who is facing aggravated robbery charges.

On Saturday last week, Banda mobilised armed PF cadres and stormed Lusaka Central Police where they beat up some unsuspecting officers on duty and got away with an undisclosed amount of money, belonging to one of the officers.

Sources say the incident happened after the C5 anti-robbery squad shot and killed a suspect earlier, who happens to be a relative to Banda. The suspected robber died after sustaining four bullet wounds.

This infuriated the PF official who demanded to meet the officers involved in the shooting incident. However, the officers did not comply, prompting Banda to mobilise cadres and besiege the provincial police headquarters, with at least one visible firearm.

Noting the arrival of Banda, armed with a gun, some officers scampered into hiding while one of the officers, Ian Mbewe who is charge of anti-motor vehicle theft unit, fell victim to a thorough beating.

Banda and his gang then left the police station and went on the run, before officers could mobilise to take him on.

Lusaka Province Police Commissioner Nelson Phiri, who was present during the raid of his station, was unreachable for a comment, but his Eastern Province counterpart Luckson Sakala confirmed that police in the region were also looking for Banda, who had fled from Lusaka.

“That incident of cadres beating a police officer happened in Lusaka. Here in Chipata we have just been looking for this fugitive suspect. He ran away from Lusaka. I will not disclose the name. We have launched a manhunt for this person and we will not mention the name so that he is left in suspense.”said Commissioner Sakala.

Banda is the same PF official who urinated in the mouth of then Post Newspaper Reporter Peter Sukwa in December 2015, during the presidential by-election campaigns in Vubwi.

He was fined K14, 000 for assault after being found guilty by the Vubwi Magistrates’ Court.

In February last year, Banda was expelled from the party by Provincial Chairman Andrew Lubusha, on grounds that he had breached the PF constitution, but President Edgar Lungu nullified the expulsion, saying Banda who was a Petauke District official then, had not been granted an opportunity to be heard.

And in February this year, Banda was one of the PF cadres who disrupted a Law Association of Zambia-organised public discussion on Constitutional Amendment Bill number 10 of 2019 at Intercontinental Hotel.

A few months later, Banda was elevated to the rank of Provincial Youth Chairman, a post he currently occupies.
