The less fear of Allah, one has the more disobedient he becomes to Him. As the fear of Allah decreases, one becomes more bold in committing sins. As the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) were intensely fearful of Allah, they were afraid of committing even very minor sins.

Patience ,or patient perseverance ,is obligatory ,according to the consensus of the scholars, and it is half of faith (iman),the other half of which is gratitude (shukr).Patience is mentioned in the Qu'ran around ninety times .The relation of patience to iman is like the relation of the head to the body, and the one who has no patience has no iman.

Allah (SWT) has told us that He is with those who have patience.
The Prophet (SAW) told us that patience is all good and full of goodness, and said that "There is no gift better than patience."

Allah(SWT) talks about patience in various ayahs below.

'Abdullah bin 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with them) reported that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah accepts a slave's repentance as long as the latter is not on his death bed (that is, before the soul of the dying person reaches the throat)".
