Just watched and listened to "New Rome", by The Ormidales and found it timely, musically pleasing, visually stunning and hauntingly and beautifully sung, a true pleasure! Political clashes and pandemic fears have our world in their grip; and only time will tell what kind of a new world this might turn out to be. An apt visual and auditory rendering of the world today is "New Rome". We can only hope and pray that what rises, out of the ashes of the past is something to be desired. Some of us are clinging to the good and comforting things of the past; while others riot in the streets. This song certainly sets our minds a whirl, wondering what waits around the corner and praying all turns out well.
