My time working with these amazing women is some of the most important of my life. They more than most anyone taught me the linkages between colonial resource wars at home and abroad.
A documentary about their struggle, which is inherited by these living generations of indigenous land and sovereignty defenders, is linked below.
I provided a bunch of original video for it, including resistance actions and federal operations, interviews and aerial video of the ecocatastrophes they dedicated their lives to fighting, as taken from chartered aircraft.
They're prime among the people to whom I dedicate the volume , and more information about my experience here is at 369LightSwitch- Podcast✌🏽🌎❤️
As comes to a close, we'd like to honor Mary and Carrie Dann, sisters who were activists for Native culture and land.
The Dann sisters were Western Shoshone ranchers who challenged the U.S. Federal government over use of their Native land, which went all the way to the Supreme Court.
