D’Ashon Badawo, a former orphan with significant medical needs who found a loving caregiver, foster parent and adoptive mother in Linda Badawo, suffered a preventable tragedy in 2016 because of the broken Medicaid Managed Care system in Texas. Texas families are Sick of Superior. We must act now to reform Medicaid Managed Care in Texas so this does not happen to other children in the foster care system.
