Following on from his breathtaking debut EP Wanna Breathe in 2024, Canada’s finest Abstrakt Sonance is bringing his emotive and creatively rich productions back to Morii with Need You Now - 2025’s most emotionally raw drum & bass record.

Jam packed with heartache, adrenaline and cathartic escapism - Need You Now is an artistic response to heartbreak - with DnB proving as the perfect tempo to bridge the depth of hurt, with immediacy and vitality that these five tracks contain, including collabs with some of the UK’s top underground vocal talent.

Lead single and EP opener Only One sets the tone, with its rich melody, matched with crunching synths and raw energy - serving as Abstrakt’s immediate creative reaction to break up - pining for a time when love was reciprocated.

Following Cortese’s spellbinding EP earlier this year, which saw editorial support across all major music platforms and Top 10 on Beatport and huge DJ support, Morii Records is proud to present Time (Remixed) - featuring reworkings of the original tunes from some of the hottest properties in global bass music.

Following the insane reaction to their groundbreaking EP, Time - with editorial support from all major platforms and radio play from Rinse FM, KEXP and BBC Introducing - Cortese are back on Morii with a UKG edit of Amnesia, Out this Wednesday 2 April.

We’re super hyped to welcome fast-rising Manchester producer duo, Cortese, to the Morii family!

Out 21 February, ‘Time’ is a groundbreaking EP - with James and Bryn taking their sound to new level in 2025.

The concept of the tracks is drawing a line in the sand as they progress their sound, while not forgetting their history - with stunning melodic and euphoric passages featured throughout, yet staying true to their UKG and breakbeat roots.

The eponymous lead single ‘Time’ is out on all platforms today - and the EP is available to pre-order on our Bandcamp now.

𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗜’𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 🧠

This year has been by a distance the most rewarding for Morii Records.

It is the year we’ve moved from releasing ambitious ENiGMA Dubz projects and collabs, to becoming a fully-fledged record label for external artists.

We have been privileged to release music from incredibly talented people - and achieved results way beyond our two man team, with editorial spots on all major DSPs, charting on Beatport, UKF features, international radio, massive traction on Bandcamp and selling out of merch items.

Numbers aren’t everything, but to have hit 5M on Spotify and 1M on Soundcloud already feels special.

Thank you to every artist who has trusted us with their creativity and most of all thank you to anyone and everyone who has supported us - be it buying, streaming or engaging with our releases - it means more to us than you will know, as music is our passion and dedication in life.

This is just the start for Morii and 2025 is looking stacked already!
