We’re super hyped to welcome fast-rising Manchester producer duo, Cortese, to the Morii family!

Out 21 February, ‘Time’ is a groundbreaking EP - with James and Bryn taking their sound to new level in 2025.

The concept of the tracks is drawing a line in the sand as they progress their sound, while not forgetting their history - with stunning melodic and euphoric passages featured throughout, yet staying true to their UKG and breakbeat roots.

The eponymous lead single ‘Time’ is out on all platforms today - and the EP is available to pre-order on our Bandcamp now.

𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗜’𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 🧠

This year has been by a distance the most rewarding for Morii Records.

It is the year we’ve moved from releasing ambitious ENiGMA Dubz projects and collabs, to becoming a fully-fledged record label for external artists.

We have been privileged to release music from incredibly talented people - and achieved results way beyond our two man team, with editorial spots on all major DSPs, charting on Beatport, UKF features, international radio, massive traction on Bandcamp and selling out of merch items.

Numbers aren’t everything, but to have hit 5M on Spotify and 1M on Soundcloud already feels special.

Thank you to every artist who has trusted us with their creativity and most of all thank you to anyone and everyone who has supported us - be it buying, streaming or engaging with our releases - it means more to us than you will know, as music is our passion and dedication in life.

This is just the start for Morii and 2025 is looking stacked already!

Yes family it's RELEASE DAY, Wanna Breathe EP is now live.

This is a heavy emotional album not only soundscape wise but also emotionally. It's three tracks, these come from my heart, my soul, and from finding my happiness and love again after some very hard times.

Huge thank you to ENIGMA DUBZ and Morii Records for taking me and this EP on. I am so grateful for you and everyone else involved in this.

Big ups to everyone that listens to my tracks, to the people who support me, to my friends, my family, to you all. Much love.

Lead single from 'Wanna Breathe'
Feel Myself Again is out now! 🧠 Morii Records

After losing myself through 2020-2022, I was finding it hard to get in the studio and write music. There was no inspiration or motivation that I could find around me. Even though beauty is everywhere, when we reach these dark places, we can't even see what is right in front of our faces.

After falling in love again, and starting to love myself again, I started forcing myself into the studio to write... just write. No expectation, no creative limitations. Just expressing what I was feeling. With this, I found myself in love with creating again. I wrote 5 songs in a very short period, all much different than my usual. Dubbed "Emo Tyler" by my friends lol.

The first track "Feel Myself Again" is pretty self explanatory. It felt so good to... Just be me again, be creative, be fun, enjoy life's path.

The rest of this album is out on Nov 29th, all the love fam. The official music video with dancer Jess Harbs is up on YouTube big ups lady for joining on this 🔥

It's time family

Very excited to announce that my debut solo release on the label Morii Records is the one you've been waiting for.

With Wanna Breathe (out 29/11), I feel I have pushed my creativity to another level, with the EP offering a deeper connection to my sense of self than ever before. Inspired to rebound from a hard period towards the end of Canada’s lockdown. These three tracks offered the solace to get lost in my creative process and the results are simply me.

Out Friday, lead single Feel Myself Again reinvents what’s possible within the 140 dubstep paradigm. With clear electronica and trip hop influences, the track’s infectious melodies and organic feel are at once sonically addictive and deep and enriching.

There will be an official video - featuring dancer Jessie Harbon (amazing human) deep in the Pacific Regional Park forest.

This has been my most-requested ID after sets at this year’s festivals, Shambhala Music Festival , Lost Lands Music Festival , Dancefestopia , Wicked Woods Music Festival Electric Love Music Festival and many many other events.
