4-YEAR-OLD BOY MURDERED WHILE SLEEPING DURING DODGE CHARGER ROBBERY

4-year-old Jayce Edwards was shot and killed on September 17, 2025 at his grandmother's home on Cigar Court Charlotte, NC. Four suspects have now been arrested charged with Jayce's murder.

Jordon Davis, 23, Marquise Geurrier, 24, Angelo Hudson, 20, and Anthony Abel were arrested on September 18, 2025 charged with murder.

Jayce and his brother lived with their grandmother because there mom died recently. Jayce was murdered at 6 a.m. The suspects are accused of trying to steal a black Dodge Charger off of the property at a home.

An adult at the home looked out the window and one of the suspects fired several shots. The bullets hit little Jayce while he was sleeping and killed him. The suspects took the Dodge Charger, and another vehicle followed behind them with other suspects in it.

Within 24 hours all suspects were arrested charged with murder and robbery.

TEENAGER MURDERED IN SHOOTING

A teen lost his life to gun violence. The victim is identified as Jan Keneth Meza Figueroa, 18. He was killed in a shooting on September 7, 2025.

The shooting was on Atando Avenue Charlotte, NC at 2 in the morning. 3 victims total were shot. Figueroa died on the scene. The other victims sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

2 KILLED IN TRIPLE SHOOTING IN CENTER CITY CHARLOTTE

Gabriel Lee, 27, (Left) and 18-year-old Colby Smith (Right) were the victims of a double murder during a triple shooting in the downtown area of Charlotte, NC.

The victims were murdered on July 5, 2025 at a 4th of July party on North Caldwell Street. Shots rang out during a dispute between nearby groups.

Lee and Smith were shot along with another victim. Lee and Smith died from the shooting. The 3rd victim survived and was in critical condition.

There are no leads on any arrests.

WOMAN KILLED IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE BY BOYFRIEND IN FRONT OF KIDS

35-year-old Ebonee McNiel was killed in a double murder on July 2, 2025. Her boyfriend, seen here killed her and then shot himself at apartments on Pebblestone Dr. Charlotte, NC.

Ebonee and the man shared children together. In the afternoon around 12 o'clock Ebonee and the man got into an argument. The suspect shot and killed Ebonee and then killed himself in front of their kids.

The kids were not shot.

MAN MURDERED ON JUNETEENTH WEEKEND IN CHARLOTTE

A man was killed in a shooting on Juneteenth weekend 2025 on June 22, 2025. The male victim (Seen here) was killed on North Tryon St. Charlotte, NC.

Around 12:30 a.m., shots were fired at the victim and he was shot. Medics were called and pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

MURDER AT APARTMENTS, FEMALE VICTIM KILLED

A murder took place on June 14, 2025 resulting in Nicole Gamble as the victim.

Gamble was shot and killed at apartments in Charlotte, NC on Magnolia Hill Drive. The victim was shot at the time of 9 p.m.

Gamble had adult children and had a trucking career. There has been no word on any potential suspects.

17-year-old Daeveon was killed in a wild shooting on June 11, 2025.

The shooting took place at apartments on Hyde Pointe Ct Charlotte, NC. Daeveon was shot in the parking lot, he died shortly afterwards.

FATHER ARRESTED ACCUSED OF SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH HIS OWN DAUGHTER

In March 2025 Jose Alfaro, 43, was arrested accused of having s*xual relations with his 8-year-old daughter Evelin Alfaro. The female victim is now an adult.

In 2015 at the tender age of 17 Evelin told a DSS social worker that her father Jose had been s*xually abusing her since she was 8 years old. Evelin had a journal that described the s*xual abuse her father is accused of doing to her.

But during the investigation, Evelin recanted the allegations to detectives and the case was closed. Years later in December 2024 Evelin went to the police again, this time as as an adult and she made the same s*xual assault allegations on her father.

She says Jose came into her room and had various s*xual relations with her when she was a girl on multiple occasions throughout the years.

S*x toys were also used. So in 2025 cops along with Evelin conducted a recorded phone call with Jose.

Evelin confronted her father on the s*xual assaults, Jose allegedly admitted to the s*xual crimes on the recorded line. Jose even apologized and asked for forgiveness,

Jose was arrested charged with child s*x offense, child r**e, and other s*x crimes.

Deeaudrey Copeland, 46, was murdered in a shooting on Memorial Day weekend 2025 in Charlotte, NC. Copeland was killed on May 24, 2025.

Copeland was in a vehicle on West Sugar Creek when he was shot, he drove to North Graham Street where he died.

A business owner was murdered on May 15, 2025, he is identified as 67-year-old Jerry Forney.

Forney was found dead at his house on Briargrove Dr. Charlotte, NC. His family and friends had not been able to get in contact with him, so cops were called.

Police arrived at the home and made forced entry into the home. Forney was found dead with a gunshot. Forney had been dead for days in his house.

Forney owned and operated Clean Green Landscaping for years. Court records show Forney owed a lot of people money. There have been no arrests or leads.

On Memorial Day weekend 2025 a male victim was killed on May 23, 2025 in Charlotte, NC.

The man died in a crash involving a dirt bike. The crash was at the intersection of Hoskins Road and Tennessee Ave. at 6:29 a.m.

DOCTOR ARRESTED FOR DWI IN LAND ROVER

On May 17, 2025 Dr. Kimberly Nixon, 61, was arrested accused of DWI in Matthews, NC. Nixon is a pediatric dentist at Tooth Town Dentistry.

Dr. Nixon was driving on Independence Blvd. in a Land Rover SUV. The doctor was pulled over for speeding, a strong odor of alcohol was smelled on the traffic stop.

The doctor failed standard sobriety tests, her breathalyzer reading was 0.9. Dr. Nixon was charged with DWI and taken to the county jail.
