1000 Km Nürburgring Revival. We were there, and we talked to Klaus Ludwig and Kurt Ahrens. An impression:

1983 was the final year prototypes raced on the legendary Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. The Green Hell was deemed too unsafe, and racing moved to the new Grand Prix lay-out. Now, for one day only, the prototypes and Group 5 cars from the sixties and seventies returned to the old track.

Klaus Ludwig after driving the .racing K2 for some laps: ‘Every corner, every hump brings back memories. The thing that really stand out: I can’t begin to fathom anymore how we managed to go so fast on this track.’

Thank you for creating an event that was so rich in content and authenticity.
