A deliciously candid brand of horror carving its way into your hearts. They bicker, banter, and drink expensive liquor. They are TOP KVLT.

TOP KVLT is Blaise Dahl and Kyle Davis — two star-crossed Tom Hanks and Meg Ryans head over heels for horror. In addition to curating horrorthon events in the New York Metropolitan area, their YouTube channel explores and analyzes a wide array of spooky subgenres, forgotten gems, and some of the newest international and underground releases you might have a hard time getting your hands on. And although their opinions might not always align, they come together much like Voltron to provide all your horror needs. Kyle's the upper body and arms, and Blaise is the legs, head and sweet ass blazing sword. Blaise is the frontwoman and songwriter behind noisey art pop band DAHL HAUS. In addition to her work as a session and touring musician (Jennie Vee, Slim Jim Phantom Trio Mevius), she serves on MTV’s Look Different Panel. She also has an unhealthy addiction to sampling 80s horror dialogue in her music (her favorite era of the genre). Kyle has a background in Professional Wrestling, Fight Choreography, and Organized Recycling Crime. He ran the wrestling promotion NextLevelWrestling and is currently in school for Mortuary Science. He plays darts in his spare time and busted in 301 with a T74.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Bishop's Cove on a well received NY premiere at Shockagogo Film Fest! So cool to hear Dahl Haus' “Silhouettes & Alibis” play over the credit sequence at Film Noir Cinema (haven’t been there since the old shop on Bedford Ave). Charles and Chelsea have created such a delightfully sick and depraved world. Follow them for updates on when the movie screens near you! 🔥

Still riding the high of Brooklyn Horror Film Festival while we record all our reviews this rainy weekend. Thank you again to the staff for putting together such an unforgettable experience and letting us be a part of your amazing community for a 3rd year! It’s gonna feel weird not driving to Nitehawk Cinema - Williamsburg every night to rush from movie to movie. October 2024 can’t come soon enough. Hope to see all of you around before then! 👻

What an incredible opening night at the 8th annual Brooklyn Horror Film Festival! We loved "Kill Your Lover" from the powerhouse duo Switchblade Cinema. A loud and often colorful ride that is just as funny as it is intense. Lead actors Paige Gilmour and Shane Quigley Murphy are quite a pair to watch.
