Hey Trumpet Players!
Just a little reminder not to overplay when you're prepping for a gig. The last thing you need is for your lips to be swollen the day of your performance. My school’s big Christmas production is less than a month away so I have two 50-minute rehearsals in the morning where I play my face off... Then I come play my mouth piece for a couple of minutes and play lots of long notes focusing on sound and building endurance. I really like using the Schlossberg book for this. The first studies in the Arban book are also profitable. You're never beyond focusing on the basics.
Now get off social media and go practice!

It's finally ready! 🥳 We had an absolute blast making this video together and I doubt it will be the last one.

So, here's the story behind this...
We all heard this song for the first time sung by David Spivey and Gareth and Regina Nickerson at Y4C. It was used by the Lord in such a powerful way. People were pouring down to the alter and praising God. Tears were streaming down nearly everyone’s face as they prayed that the Lord would help them not to waste their life; that they would be used to advance God’s kingdom.

A few days later, Elena sent us a text saying, “Wouldn’t it be cool if we could sing leave with nothing left? Just a thought And a very random one!” Turns out I had been thinking the same exact thing! Thus, Heritage 4 was born! We got to work right away! Finally, a few weeks later, this is the result!
