Noëtik – Distant Thought

The second original track by Noëtik contrasts well with the title track Ignition Fluid, as it creates a far more dream-like image in the listener’s mind. Chopped, echoing vocal shots fading through the room contribute to the feeling of lightness and comfort that the track undoubtedly triggers in its audience. The lead synth sequence gives the track its defining tone by adding a great deal of dynamics, making it a strong addition to more ambient-leaning sets and playstyles.

Noëtik – Ignition Fluid (GLIA Remix) .dj

The remix of the title track by DJ and producer GLIA turns the tension up a notch with a relentless kick drum and repetitive yet powerful sound design, shifting the dreamy mood of the original toward a more straightforward interpretation. By chopping up the signature vocal shots and adding a defining clap as well as a broader ride to the mix, the remix by the Croatian talent is nothing short of being made for the dance floor.

The title track sets the tone as a dancefloor track right at the beginning with a strong kick drum, accompanied by organic FX and sample shots. The gloomy pad selection dips right into the feeling of uncertainty where the direction comes from a carefully selected set of percussive elements and the vocal shots cutting through the dense atmosphere, gaining more and more momentum over time.
