I’m ploughing on ahead with my decorative stitching on these Christmas Stockings. I think they add some interest to the overall look without dominating the design

It’s my usual riot of randomness, but I think it’s going to look good in the end!

As well as all the stitching, I’m still working on various pattern designs and doodles.

Over the last week I’ve had another attempt at a steampunk inspired creation. I think it turned out pretty well

So we survived another week, and what better way to celebrate than listening to my random musings while I decorate some fabrics with embroidery stitches? 🤣

I’m getting on with some Sunday stitching, working on some stem stitch as well as whipped back stitch and whipped chain stitch, pls a couple of decorative bits that I just made up!

It’s a lovely wet weekend so I’ve snuggled up under a blanket and trying to catch up on my stitching projects

Even when I’m not filming, I’m still risking my fingertips offscreen!

I’m still working on my Christmas Stocking project. It’s coming on well and I’m hoping it’ll be ready to send off in the next few weeks! Here’s a few little bits of joining stitchery that I’ve completed in the last day or two. I really like how the whip-stitching created a little bit of a candy cane feel

It’s a little late in the day, but I thought I’d share a Work in Progress picture.

For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been getting on with some crazy quilted Christmas Stockings. As part of the design, I’ve done a few chicken scratch patches too. I really enjoy the process of creating these patterns, so I thought I’d create a couple of border patterns too!

I think I’ll definitely be returning to this type of embroidered decoration in the future.
