The Tramp is looking like it's old self again and will be back on the road soon. Went back to it's original color. Before the wreck I was actually missing it's old brown self, so decided to go backwards in time with it. The name "SaddleTramp" came from an idea of the Charlie Daniels song, SaddleTramp; where he sings about a drifting cowboy roaming from town to town and place to place on his horse. So why not? The same concept on a motorcycle that you've pieced together and the color of a horse. Also wasn't going to spend any more on high (to me) dollar paint jobs. Wasn't going to give the insurance the chance to total it; which they would've. The legalities and headache of it being a salvage bike just isn't worth the hastle for what it is; especially since I can fix it. Looks like it will live again to ride on.

Everytime I'm on this thing after not being on it for good while, I'm always taken back at how fast it is. The lines on the highway go by like machine gun bullets. And when going into 5th gear, it's like pulling the warp speed lever.

You guys know this dude? There was a time I never pictured riding next to and this bike being in the same photo shot with Jared Weems from Weems Motor Co and his famous Triumph "The Judge". This was just before he came to rescue me too when the brake drum sprocket busted clean off of the hub.
