Everytime I'm on this thing after not being on it for good while, I'm always taken back at how fast it is. The lines on the highway go by like machine gun bullets. And when going into 5th gear, it's like pulling the warp speed lever.

You guys know this dude? There was a time I never pictured riding next to and this bike being in the same photo shot with Jared Weems from Weems Motor Co and his famous Triumph "The Judge". This was just before he came to rescue me too when the brake drum sprocket busted clean off of the hub.

130 miles today in making another milestone on the 76 ironhead sportster by making it to the state of Alabama. I know... woopty doo, but it's an accomplishment with it not being too long ago a pile of parts and saying to myself back then during it's making; "Is this really gonna work?" For what it is and being a product of it's time, it's looking and running like a pretty capable motorcycle despite the stigmatic history ironheads have had in the past. Running pretty capable indeed. If it's not too soon to say so; I wouldn't put it past it to do even more.

The only one amongst the fleet that's yet to embark on an epic trip. Hopefully coming in the near future.
