It’s really a simple, beautiful way to incorporate a more whimsical, interest-led vibe to your homeschool days…

It’s not hands-off, it’s intentional…

It’s not lazy, it’s intuitive…

It requires you to pay attention, be in the moment, and let learning unfold naturally…

You could do this everyday, once a week, or when you feel like you’re all burnt out from doing business as usual!

So many questions for middle grade readers, so I thought it made sense to share my favorite place to get them—my favorite to get books for all my kids!

Christianbook is a very close second, and hate me if you need to, but Amazon is in third place because of convenience😅

I just realized I forgot to share episode 3!!!

I love when a book can make my kids curious about science and point them back to God at the same time. 🤎

That’s exactly what Indescribable and How Great Is Our God by Louie Giglio do.

They explore things kids are already fascinated by—space, animals, the human body, nature, and so much more—and continually connect those discoveries back to Scripture and the character of God.

This is the kind of resource I love having on our homeschool shelves. It gives us another way to look at the incredible things we’re learning about creation and recognize the Creator behind it.

Some of my favorite homeschool moments are the ones that don’t really feel like school.

That’s one of the reasons I love the Anatomy series by Julia Rothman.

They make you want to slow down and actually notice things—the world outside, how our bodies work, what happens on a farm, even where our food comes from.

I love having books like these around because you can start with one little question and suddenly you’re ten questions deep.

They’re beautiful enough to leave out on the coffee table, interesting enough that my kids actually pick them up, and full of little rabbit trails you can follow wherever their curiosity takes you.

This is one of those series I’m always recommending to other homeschool moms because it truly grows with your kids—from the sweetest board books for little ones to storybooks, graphic novels, choose-your-own-consequence books, and nonfiction for older kids.

I love that they introduce big ideas through stories—economics, liberty, entrepreneurship, history, logical fallacies, and more—without feeling like a textbook.

And honestly, the fact that my kids have read some of them over and over again is what sold me.
