CBS Promotes Sunday Rest and Worship
On Sunday, May 15, 2022, CBS Channel 42 in Birmingham, AL featured an interview with a pastor from the United Methodist Church to explain why Christians worship on Sunday. Despite the fact that the Methodist pastor stated that “some Christians,” such as “Seventh-day Adventists,” observe Saturday as the Sabbath, he expressed that most Christians, more than 98%, worship on Sunday, and this has become the primary day of worship.
Although the majority feels that Sunday has somehow become the Christian Sabbath, this does not make it so. It is also true that the majority of people can easily accept a lie (The mainstream media is a perfect illustration). Because truth does not always follow the majority and the majority does not always believe the truth, the majority view does not establish truth.
According to Daniel 7:25, the seventh-day Sabbath was changed to Sunday by a power that claims to be greater than the Creator. According to Bible prophecy, the son of perdition, the antichrist, the beast of bible prophecy, will compel the world to drink the wine of the wrath of her fornication, which is her false doctrine (Revelation 18:3). This power will be followed and embraced by the entire world (Revelation 13:3). As the abomination of desolation continues to propagate the deception about the Lord’s true Sabbath day, she is preparing to impose her counterfeit mark upon the nations (Revelation 13:17).
