Didukung Red Bull, Veda Ega Pratama Kian Termotivasi di Moto3

Pembalap muda Indonesia Veda Ega Pratama mengaku sangat termotivasi menjalani balapan di Moto3 setelah resmi menjadi bagian dari atlet yang didukung Red Bull.

"Saya sangat senang tahun ini bersama keluarga Red Bull menjadi pembalap Indonesia yang disponsori mereka," ujar Veda Ega Pratama dikutip dari Red Bull Content Pool, Senin (16/3).

Veda meraih kesempatan menjalani debut di kejuaraan dunia Moto3 setelah menunjukkan performa impresif dalam program pengembangan pembalap muda Road to MotoGP.
Pembalap 17 tahun itu sebelumnya menjuarai Asia Talent Cup 2023, kemudian meraih posisi runner-up di Red Bull Rookies Cup 2025, serta menempati peringkat ke-10 pada JuniorGP 2025.

Pada musim debutnya di Grand Prix Moto3 2026, Veda bergabung dengan Honda Team Asia.

Veda berharap kedatangannya bisa membuka jalan bagi lebih banyak atlet Indonesia berkiprah di panggung internasional.

"Saya berharap di masa depan kami memiliki lebih banyak pembalap atau atlet lain yang mewakili Indonesia seperti saya. Itu akan membuat saya sangat bangga," imbuh Veda.

Veda juga mengungkapkan bahwa menjadi atlet Red Bull merupakan impiannya sejak kecil.

Menurutnya, banyak pembalap top dunia dari berbagai disiplin balap motor yang meraih dukungan dari perusahaan minuman energi tersebut.

"Saya juga pembalap Indonesia pertama yang balapan di Moto3 dengan logo Red Bull di helm. Saya sangat senang dan itu memotivasi saya untuk bekerja lebih keras," kata Veda.

Setelah tampil impresif dengan finis di posisi kelima pada Moto3 Thailand 2026, Veda dijadwalkan kembali berlaga pada seri berikutnya, yaitu Moto3 Brasil 2026 pada 20-22 Maret.
