Dacayo, Cayton lead DOLE’s TUPAD payout in N. Vizcaya
SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya — Vice Governor Eufemia Dacayo and Mayor Atty. Tim Cayton in partnership with the local government unit of Solano facilitated the distribution of wages to TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced) workers in the province’s 3 municipalities on Thursday.
The beneficiaries, who received their salaries at the Tomas Dacayo Gym, are from the municipalities of Solano, Bayombong and Quezon.
In her message, Dacayo thanked Senator Christopher B**g Go for choosing displaced workers in the province as beneficiaries and providing them temporary employment and support.
Dacayo also appreciated the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for extending their assistance to address the urgent needs of displaced workers in the province.
Cayton, in his message, held Dacayo in high regards for taking much effort in seeking assistance from the office of Senator Go for the benefit of Vizcayanos.
Cayton said Dacayo's effort to address the needs of the disadvantaged workers is a manifestation of her commitment in providing emergency employment for seasonal workers.
Meanwhile, Mayor Philip Dacayo expressed his gratitude to the workers for their dedication and commitment to providing services in their respective localities.
TUPAD beneficiaries are engaged in community-based projects that address local needs, such as transport of goods, clean-up drives, and other public services.
