UK-based Zimbabwean musician Njabulo "Tytan" Nkomo has publicly distanced himself from his ex-wife Olinda Chapel, amid reports of her rekindling romance with her ex-husband, rapper Desmond "Stunner" Chideme. The development comes after Olinda and Stunner were spotted getting cozy at this year's Zimfest, sparking speculation about the nature of their relationship.
When fans questioned Tytan about Olinda's interactions with Stunner, he responded with a mix of humor and assertiveness, indicating he has moved on and won't be drawn into drama. "Handina shavi rechihure," he retorted, which translates to "I don't have a foolish beard," implying he won't be swayed by unnecessary drama. To another fan's query, he simply stated, "Mukadzi waani?" meaning "Whose wife?".
Olinda, however, seemed to throw shade at Tytan on Instagram, posting screenshots of deleted messages and hinting at behind-the-scenes drama. She captioned the post, "Is this normal — for your ex to be texting and calling like this — but in the comment section, you’re busy trash-talking???".
This latest episode in the Olinda-Tytan saga follows a tribunal loss for Olinda in the UK, where her healthcare company was found to have unfairly dismissed a British employee who alleged Tytan behaved "sexually inappropriately" towards her.
The tumultuous history between Olinda and Tytan dates back to their marriage in 2018, which ended in separation a year later. They renewed their vows in 2022 but rumors of divorce resurfaced in 2023. Meanwhile, Olinda's past relationship with Stunner has been marked by controversy, including allegations of infidelity and a messy breakup in 2017.
